Lou Schmitt (R-Blair) today announced that he has been appointed to serve on the House Commerce, Local Government, State Government, Transportation and Urban Affairs committees for the 2019-20 legislative session. Schmitt was sworn into office for his first term in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives on Jan. 1.

ALTOONA – Rep. Lou Schmitt (R-Blair) today announced that he is hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house to mark the grand opening of his new district office in downtown Altoona. The office is located in the space formerly occupied by Rep. John McGinnis in Suite 104 of the Gables building at 1331 Twelfth Ave.

HARRISBURG – Rep. Lou Schmitt (R-Blair) today was officially sworn into office, along with 200 other members of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, during a ceremony at the state Capitol. Schmitt is beginning his first, two-year term serving the people of the 79th Legislative District, which includes the City of Altoona, Logan Township and a portion of Allegheny Township.
